Packer Position in Warehouse

PRIMARY FUNCTION Packer General Labor Warehouse Job Amsterdam, NYAdecco staffing is currently assisting one of our local clients to immediately fill warehouse opportunities in the Amsterdam, NY area.
There are multiple warehouse shifts available (4 days a week).
These Packer openings are for a long-term temporary opportunity.
Candidates will assume a variety of responsibilities within a warehouse environment.

-Verify, and pack merchandise from master cartons to store cartons, in quantities more readily sold by stores-Ticket Merchandise-Pack boxes for shipment to stores-Maintain organized, neat and clean work area by picking up debris, damaged merchandise, ticket backings, sweeping, etc.
-Always use safe lifting techniques and appropriate safety equipment (e.
, cutting sleeve, cutting glove, etc.
)-Label boxes-Stack boxesWarehouse candidates must meet the following requirements:
-Ability to stand for 10-12 hour shifts-Ability to repeatedly lift heavy objects upWe are willing to train anyone interested in getting their foot in the door to this great company.
Pay for this position is $10.
This is a temporary position with the potential for becoming permanent.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
