Essential Role Overview:
As Hill and Markes' Bids and Contract Specialist you will be primarily responsible for executing bids on behalf of the company for procurement opportunities.
In this position you will also negotiate and maintain manufacturer rebates.

Review incoming bid legals, work with sales, transportation, and purchasing to identify opportunity.
Reach out to vendors for cost support and prepare final bid documents according to specifications for timely submission.
Enter bid awards as necessary.
Maintaining national account pricing, contracts with vendors, and price managed accounts.
Monitor, track and communicate price adjustments to peers and customers.
Ensure contracts, bids and proposal documents are stored and organized to meet company document retention requirements and ensure accessibility by business operations leaders for reference.
Prepare quotes and proposals for prospective customers.
Review and prepare incoming requests, work with business development on creation of new programs.
Facilitate and strategically work with sales to identify cost support options for customers.

Requirements:

Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint).
Preferred education and experience Knowledge of janitorial, office, and food service products preferred.
Bachelor's degree preferred.
Work authorization/security clearance requirements Must be authorized to work in the United States of America.
