RN Addiction Services- Inpatient

Responsibilities:
Assess medical issues of patients entering outpatient addiction services and completes health assessments in electronic health record per standards.
Work closely with Clinic Physician, Nurse Practitioner, Counselors and pharmacies to address needs of patients.
Notes and carries out provider orders, documents assessments per standards.
Communicates to physicians and/or medical providers regarding any change in patient's condition, or development of any untoward symptoms.
Administer injection medications such as Vivitrol to patients and monitor for any adverse reactions Assist in office-based inductions of buprenorphine/Suboxone Inventories medications and performs QI on office equipment per regulations Provides and takes part in educational programs for patients in area of expertise.
Takes on any other role or responsibility as assigned by manager to contribute to an effective team within the organization.
Work schedule is Monday to Friday Complexity of Work:
oWithin scope of job able to work independently, requires critical thinking skills, decisive judgment and the ability to work with minimal supervision.
Personal Protective Equipment:
oFollows Standard Precautions using personal protective equipment as required.
Education:
oHigh School Diploma/GED required oDiploma from an accredited school/college of nursing required.
Licensure / Certification / Registration:
Required Credential(s):
oBLS Provider obtained within 3 Months (90 days) of hire date or job transfer date.
oRegistered Nurse credentialed from the New York Board of Nursing.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
