Responsibilities:
oProvides physical therapy interventions under a plan of care written by a physical therapist.
oPerforms therapy interventions utilizing techniques and skills as appropriate for the patientpopulation.
oDocuments treatment interventions given.
oMay coordinate activities of physical therapy aides, students and other support personnel.
Required Credential(s):
oBLS Provider obtained within 3 Months (90 days) of hire date or job transfer date.
oRehab Therapist specializing in Physical Therapy Asst credentialed from the New York Board of Physical Therapy obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date.
Education:
oHigh school diploma or GED required.
Recommended Skills Physical Therapy Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
